“So I concluded there is nothing better than to be happy and enjoy ourselves as long as we can. And people should eat, drink, and enjoy the fruits of their labour, for these are gifts from God.” ~Ecclesiastes 3:12-13

Hey Youth,

“And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.”(Galatians 6:9)

“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” (Jeremiah 29:11)

God has worked in my life recently through the ways stated in the verses. Trust in the Lord and have patience, for He will set things in motion in His own time.

Hey everyone,

First of all, Merry Christmas and I hope you all had wonderful days! Secondly, I’ve never actually done a ThrowBack Thursday before, but I’ve been wanting to try one on here and I thought today would be the perfect day to do so. Therefore, I am doing a throwback to the night of Jesus’s birth 🙂

16 So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger. 17 When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, 18 and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them. 19 But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart. 20 The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told. You Are Loved

Posted in Youth Blog

Hey everyone,

So I’ve recently discovered Josh Groban, and I was listening to a playlist of his on YouTube today. I found a fantastic song of his called “You Are Loved (Don’t Give Up)”. It starts off by saying “…your heart’s heavy, I’ll lift it for you”, and it shows an exhausted mother being nagged by her child. It later shows the mother smiling and hugging her child and says “I will shine to guide you”. I thought this related to our journey with God. No matter how heavy our burden is, God is always there to lift it for us. He will always be there to give us patience and strength. He with always shine his love to light our path.

Thanks be to God 🙂
