United in Spirit Collaborative Ministry – Thanksgiving Sunday

Gratitude and thanksgiving is coaching your mind learning to count the things that you are grateful for, what you are able to do, what you have and could have. Be as detailed as you can. Gratitude erases negativity. It drags you out of depression. Joy triumphs over sadness & depression.

In Philippians 4:6–7, Paul says; “Pray with gratitude, and the peace of Christ, which is bigger than knowledge or understanding, that will guard both your mind and your heart in Christ Jesus.” Only a pre-existent attitude of gratitude, a deliberate choice of love over fear, a desire to be positive instead of negative, will allow us to live in the spacious place Paul describes as “the peace of Christ.” Gratitude creates positivity, joy, hope, and even happiness. Let us be grateful for many things around us and give thanks to the Creator and thank those around us too.
