On this World Communion Sunday, we come from different places, cultures & identities, we come to worship.
There are times when we feel bullied, dominated and sometimes clearly insulted, just because we cannot do anything. Some people want us to feel their power. How do we respond in such situations? Have you ever felt helpless, useless, weak and powerless? How did you recover? What story can you tell us? The Israelites were a people of beliefs, values, principles, which guided their life. They knew when to say, ENOUGH! They were courageous enough to say what they could and could not do.
Never again shall we be the one that mocks others because they are weak, or different. When one struggles today or the weak serve at our mercy, let us be respectful to other cultures, faiths & religions. Let us not mock those who are different because we stand in a position of strength & power. Remember God sides with the weak, least & last.
