The Christmas story does not only talk about joy, it reminds us that God dwells with us in the midst of violence, injustice and evil. God is always among the victims of violence; the refugees, the vulnerable, and the least powerful. God dwells with the poor and the despised, the homeless alien finds God as the Source of All Power. Not only is God with us. God is with others, too.
