Today is the third Sunday of Lent, A time to go deeper, A time to prepare and a time to commit. The last two weeks we contemplated our preparations, our commitment to making a difference, to taking action. Today we hear of Isaiah’s call to action! To reach out to the oppressed and the marginalized, to feed the hungry, to provide homes for the unhoused, to love our neighbours. Jesus takes Isaiah’s words and puts them into action. Let us commit our lives to do likewise and put these words into action to make this a better world, to make a difference.
