United in Spirit Collaborative Ministry – Worship with Rev. Simba

We need to live for what today has to offer, not what yesterday took away. If we would, let us celebrate what days have brought, not what they took away. Giving thanks for everything is a commitment and substance for the hope we carry. We are called to a place where we celebrate what we have and we had too. It is imperative that we count we utilize our gift of memory for the good. What is coming to mind from the past, must give us a reason to be hopeful and grateful. What has life given you this year, the last decade and continues to give you?

When we give thanks, we are cognizant that there is a possibility of things going wrong. It is a healthy practice to choose to be positive amidst negative experiences. We also need to recognize that we have an opportunity to leave a legacy of gratitude; choosing to be grateful for what we have and had, over complaining about what we lost.
