Who can attend?
Anyone can attend. Regardless of your age, race, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, ability, previous marital or sexual relationship status, faith background, or gender, Steinbach United Church values everyone.
Worship time – 10:15 am
Worship is a lively time of connecting to the Spirit and each other. Services are a mix of the traditional and contemporary, where we are challenged to think about our faith and what that means for our daily life. Refreshments are available at the back of the sanctuary 15 minutes before the service, and again after, for a time of fellowship. Please join us in-person or via livestream. Worship videos
Children – ARK (ages 3 – 12)
Part-way through the Sunday service, children ages 3-12 follow our ARK (All Remarkable Kids) leader to the classrooms. We explore the teachings through story, drawing, acting, puppets, videos, and crafts based on our worship themes which are integrated into age appropriate activities. ARK runs from September to June
Youth (grades 7-12)
Youth in grades 7-12 meet with our youth leader during Sunday worship services and explore scripture together through discussions and activities such as baking, crafting and drama. Youth also have opportunities to participate in outreach and volunteer activities. Youth activities run from September to June.
Our Building
The front doors, as well as the doors by our Hall, welcome you into our friendly space. Both entries have access to our sanctuary via a lift. The Hall is used for various events such as potlucks and Messy Church. The basement has rooms for children’s Sunday School (ARK) and Youth. Our fully accessible building is well used by our teams, groups, and community partners.
Location & Parking
We are located at 541 Main Street in Steinbach, just east of the Steinbach Fire Department. Parking and accessible parking is available on either side (west and east) of our building.
Accessibility
We value everyone and therefore have made all 3 levels of our building accessible to all. Accessibility parking is available on both sides of our building. A vertical platform lift is available at the west entrance of the CE Hall, connecting all levels.
