Welcome to our last Sunday of Lent. We are reminded that even in times of grief and sorrow, we still gather around the table. The sorrowful and heartbroken need space around the table. They need friends and family to share in their sorrow, dejection and pain. But also, they need encouragement and accompaniment. Not only do we need to consider them, we need to be around and among them. In the same spirit, we are reminded by the story of Lazarus, where the community stayed with the grieving family.
