As our journey from the manger continues; today we march towards the wilderness experience. We gather to hear the words that John the Baptizer uttered. “This is the One who I meant. He baptizes with fire.” May we open ourselves to the mystery that manifests in this sacred space. May the Spirit that descended upon Jesus descend upon us in this worship.
